讀懂修辭、運用修辭,讓文章或口說更有趣!
 
📌英語教學目標:
1. 寫作 – 能理解【修辭 Figures of Speech】,如:Smilie 譬喻、Metaphor 暗喻、Personification 擬人,並且運用在寫作上
 
2. 口說 – 能創作出運用 Smilie 明喻、Metaphor 暗喻、Personification 擬人修辭的【詩】或 【文章】
 
 
📌活動準備建議:
1. 三種修辭的範例句子和文章。
2. 活動適合程度:進階 ─ 多益785以上/全民英檢中高級,主要訓練讀寫。
3. 準備的教具材料:文章*、影片*
4. 建議教學時間:一堂60分鐘,共1堂。
 
📌教學流程:
老師先介紹,讓學生理解三種修辭的定義。
(1) SIMILE: directly compares two different things, using the words “like” or “as” 提醒學生明喻是將不同事物作對比,常用 like, as, seem, as if, as though, similar to, such as 等.
並提供給學生例句:He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.
The pizza is as cold as ice.
(2) METAPHOR: compares two unlike things and makes them similar to each other, but it doesn’t use the words “like” or “as”.
例句:It’s raining cats and dogs. He is like a couch potato.
(3) PERSONIFICATION is a figure of speech where human traits are given to non-human objects.
例句:My feet are killing me! The leaves danced their way through the lawn.
 
2. 老師從流行歌曲中找出至少一種修辭舉例,請學生自行找出,附圖以我上課選的歌 Katy Perry – Firework 做為舉例,解釋了歌詞中大量的 Metaphor 用法。
 
3. 請學生試著自己擴寫某個句子,讓這個句子使用到至少二種修辭,完成一首詩或文章(如圖2)。
 
📌教學心得:教學後筆記:學生常常覺得修辭很難。其實,從歌曲、段落、篇章、小說都很常看到修辭。而在檢定考試的「廣告文宣」中,也很容易看見修辭。修辭不僅能引人入勝、也能增加文章的內涵。最後,學生既然能容易的寫出修辭,在考試時就能較輕易辨識文章的修辭,也能在寫作中加上應用了!
