現今教師越來越難忽視學習者的各種差異:文化、種族、語言、經濟、性別、經驗、學習動機、能力、個人偏好等,理解這些差異的並設計出因應的教學策略,能帶來有效學習。本講座首先將探討學生能力、興趣與學習方法,接著聚焦於學習的層次,最後針對各種情境中可行的差異化教學策略進行回應。

Currently teachers find it increasingly difficult to ignore the diversity of learners who populate their classrooms. Culture, race, language, economics, gender, experience, motivation to achieve, disability, advanced ability, personal interests and learning preferences are just some of the factors that students bring to school with them in almost stunning variety. This seminar offers a framework for addressing the learner variance as a critical component of instructional planning.

學習不在只侷限於教科書之內容,擁有核心素養與國際視野也是現今學習中的大目標。講座中,將與您一同探討跨領域教學的『內容導向教學法』Content-Based English (CBI),以培養學生適應未來的學習力,並從中找出激發學生學習興趣和提高課堂間的參與度。

Content-based Instruction (CBI) enables students to learn more about the world and collaborate with others. In particular when teaching younger learners, image-based books allow teachers to introduce new ideas and expand vocabulary in English using CBI teaching methods, while also keeping students interested and engaged. Examples of CBI teaching will be modeled as part of this session.

將和與會老師們分享跨領域教學規劃與實行之七步驟: Content-Based Instruction (CBI)『內容導向教學法』,並應用於現行教學教材和任一教材上,希望和與會老師們一同激發教學創意,創造出我們與眾不同的課堂。

We will share 7 key points for teaching CBI, and a general model you can use for any material.  Teachers will also do hands-on practice of CBI in small groups, using “Follow Me” and other materials, and discover how they can use these ideas to help their students learn more in English.
